Grace Allison

Grace is an accomplished oncology nursing professional with more than 30 years of clinical experience. For 28 years, she was part of the team at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), home to one of the largest and most distinguished multiple myeloma programs in the United States. During her early career, she was fortunate to work under the tutelage of internationally recognized myeloma pioneer Dr. Bart Barlogie, an experience that deeply shaped her clinical expertise and commitment to excellence in patient care.

Grace began her nursing education in Ireland and completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Arkansas. She is a long-standing member of the Oncology Nursing Society and maintains national certification as an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN®), demonstrating her dedication to advanced oncology practice. In addition, Grace is a certified oncology navigator through the American Cancer Society’s Leadership in Oncology Navigation (LION) program, reflecting her commitment to clinical excellence and lifelong learning. This credential recognizes healthcare professionals who have demonstrated validated competence across essential domains of oncology navigation.

In 2020, Grace joined the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF), where she continues to advance patient-centered care and support the myeloma community through her deep clinical knowledge, compassion, and dedication to improving outcomes for patients and families.
