Chief Medical Officer

The Chief Medical Officer is a key member of the Senior Executive team, engaged in all aspects of the MMRF. The CMO is the leader of the organization responsible for developing, managing, delivering and communicating the MMRF’s clinical research strategy and drug development programs. The CMO will lead the Multiple Myeloma Research Consortium (MMRC), a group of 25 leading research centers.

Clinical Trial Project/Study Manager

he Clinical Trial Manager will provide management and oversight MMRC’s INDs. The CTM will be responsible for all aspects of study conduct and CRO oversight and the primary point of contact for clinical study project management, communications, and decisions for the clinical INDs being held by the Multiple Myeloma Research Consortium (MMRC). Experience and knowledge of end to end management of clinical trial conduct, knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and an understanding of clinical drug development, clinical trials operations and regulatory components is essential.

Director, Bioinformatics

The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation is seeking a talented, self-motivated Bioinformatics or Healthcare Informatics expert to participate in leading edge research in translational Informatics as a member of our group. The successful applicant will have formal training in bio- or healthcare Informatics with outstanding project management skills. They will be part of an interdisciplinary team that designs and prototypes computational tools that improve the detection and interpretation of disease-relevant variants, which ultimately leads to better therapeutic options in a personalized medicine context. Major Gift Officer

The MGO will be responsible for the identification, cultivation, and solicitation of prospects that are capable of giving in excess of $10,000. The MGO will develop and execute short and long-term strategies to secure major and planned gifts (value of $25K or more) in concert with MMRF leadership, Executive Committee members, event Development Team and volunteers. Major gift donors and prospects will be individuals, corporations and foundations. Primary responsibilities will be implemented through regular and frequent visits with constituents throughout the country.

Internships & Volunteers

Volunteers
We so appreciate the importance of having individuals who make a difference for us by volunteering their time on specific projects. Opportunities exist throughout the organization but we have the greatest need for volunteers to work on events.

Interns
We work with graduate schools to provide internship projects specifically geared to the required course programs. You can apply for one of the internships we have already defined, or you can apply to us directly to propose the type of internship you would like to have us consider.

The internship projects typically include:

  • Defining the project, expected outcomes and next steps
  • Researching
  • Benchmarking
  • Analyzing and recommending
  • Preparing a presentation
  • Presenting recommendations to the Executive Committee and appropriate members of staff
