Susan Marvin is the retired Chair of the Board of the Marvin Companies. For 20 of her 36 years with the company, she was President and one of the third-generation management team in what is today a fourth-generation family owned and operated company.
Today she is focused on non-profit work and currently serves on the Minnesota Chamber Foundation Board, the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) Board of Directors, the Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation, the Warroad Community Development Corporation Board of Directors, and she is a Life Trustee of the University of Minnesota Foundation Board of Trustees. Susan is also a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) Gold and the Minnesota Women’s Economic Round Table.
Susan is a 1979 graduate of the University of Minnesota where she earned an undergraduate degree in Journalism. A native of Warroad, Minnesota, Susan now lives in both Warroad and Minneapolis with her husband, Keith Schwartzwald.
