Bill McKiernan is president of WSM Capital, LLC, a private equity firm he founded to invest in payment and other technology companies. Prior to founding WSM Capital, Bill founded CyberSource Corporation in 1994. CyberSource provides payment processing and other related services to online businesses. He was Chairman and CEO for 16 years. In July 2010, Visa, Inc. acquired CyberSource. Mr. McKiernan served as Executive Advisor to Visa for two years following the acquisition before founding WSM Capital in 2012.
Mr. McKiernan holds a BS from Boston College and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
